PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING VERY CAREFULLY AS FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY INVALIDATE YOUR GUARANTEE

1. DO use tap water when operating the unit. For demanding cleaning we recommend warm water (never hot or boiling) and a small amount of washing up liquid or specialist cleaning fluid. This will help increase the cleaning performance.

2. DO NOT operate the unit without fluid in the tank. Always ensure the fluid is no higher than the max mark and not below the min marking on the tank.

3. DO keep the tank free from large amounts of sediment.

4. DO NOT drop the unit or experience it to shock or impact.

5. DO NOT immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.

6. DO NOT use acid, bleach or any corrosive substance in the stainless steel tank, as they may attack the metal. Specialist cleaning fluids are available.

7. DO NOT place your hands in the water while the unit is operating.

8. DO keep the lid on during use. This will prevent splashes and reduce evaporation of the fluid.

9. DO NOT drop any item into the tank as this may cause damage to the transducer. Always place the item/s gently into the tank and use the basket whenever possible.

10. DO disconnect the mains supply when the unit is left unattended.

11. Disconnect the mains plug before:

  1. Emptying the fluid from the tank
  2. Filling the tank with fluid
  3. Moving the unit

12. DO keep the front panel dry. NEVER allow fluid to run down the unit case or around the cable inlet area.

13. DO NOT operate any switches when your hands are wet.

14. DO use the correct accessories with the unit. DO NOT use any glass or other containers in place of the recognised carrier.

15. The unit should be operated in environment as follows:

  1. Temperature – 5°C to 40°C
  2. Humidity – 10% to 80% (Non-condensing)

16. After long period of operation the top of the tank and fluid may get warm. This is quite normal.

17. No maintenance is required; however, the tank should be regularly cleaned.

18. DO NOT move the unit whilst in use or connected to the mains supply in order to avoid spillage or overflow.

19. In the event of failure/emergency, disconnect the mains supply by removing the plug from the mains socket.

20. DO NOT clean precious stones without gaining approval from a jeweller first. Ultrasonic cleaning is not suitable for certain types of precious stones. Please use the table below as a guide only:

The item should be immersed well into the water, however, do not exceed the "MAX" mark.
Close the lid and plug into mains.
Press ON button to start cleaning. The red indicator light will come on.

FOUR WAYS OF CLEANING

General Cleaning - use only plain water for general cleaning. The water should cover the item but not exceed the "MAX" mark.
Enhanced Cleaning - when the item is smeary, greasy or extremely dirty, add about 5-10ml of detergent or specialist ultrasonic cleaning fluid to the water to enhance the cleaning result.

Cleaning Large Items - place the item into the cleaner as shown.
Extensive Cleaning - when the item to be cleaned needs extensive cleaning use "Enhanced Cleaning" first and then replace the water with clean water and add 5-10ml of detergent or specialist ultrasonic cleaning fluid and start cleaning again.
